Version: 2026-02-20

Last updated: 2026-02-20

DarsKhana is committed to a safe online learning environment. This policy sets out safeguarding expectations, reporting routes, and how lesson recording is handled.

1. Core safeguarding commitments

  • Maintain clear safeguarding standards for online classes involving minors and vulnerable learners.
  • Require respectful, professional conduct from tutors and students.
  • Use trust-and-safety processes to investigate concerns and take proportionate action.
  • Escalate serious concerns to appropriate authorities where legally required.

2. Tutor obligations

  • Provide accurate identity and qualification information.
  • Complete required safeguarding and background-check steps for platform participation.
  • Use only approved communication and lesson channels when teaching through DarsKhana.
  • Immediately report safeguarding, abuse, harassment, or boundary concerns.

3. Parent/guardian and student expectations

  • Provide accurate age and emergency contact details where requested.
  • For students under 18, a parent/guardian must supervise or be immediately available and reachable throughout each session.
  • Report suspicious behavior, coercion, abuse, or inappropriate communication immediately.

4. Lesson monitoring and logs

We do not record all lessons by default. We do maintain attendance metadata and platform event logs (for example, join/leave events and timestamps) to support safeguarding, dispute handling, service reliability, and policy enforcement.

5. Recording rules

  • Recording may be enabled only in controlled and limited circumstances.
  • Where recording applies, users should be notified and access is restricted to authorized users.
  • Recorded assets are retained for a limited period and then removed according to retention rules.
  • Unauthorized recording, downloading, sharing, or republishing is prohibited.

6. Incident reporting and response

  • Use the Contact page or email Admin@darskhana.com for urgent safeguarding issues.
  • Include booking ID, date/time, involved users, and a factual summary of concern.
  • For immediate danger or active emergency, contact local emergency services first.

7. Enforcement

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently remove accounts for serious safeguarding breaches, abuse, harassment, impersonation, or other behavior that creates user risk.

8. Related privacy handling

Safeguarding records are handled with heightened access restrictions and retained only where operationally or legally necessary. See our Privacy Policy for broader data handling terms.
